The Renovation Advisor (“TRA”, “we”, “us”) provides general renovation guidance and advisory information to UK homeowners. We do not carry out building work, site inspections, or any hands-on services.
All advice is based on the information you provide. Advice is general in nature and is not a substitute for professional trade, structural, electrical, gas, or safety advice.
TRA is not responsible for renovation outcomes, costs, delays, contractor work, structural issues, electrical or gas issues, planning decisions, building control matters, or any consequences of renovation decisions. All decisions remain your responsibility.
You must not rely on TRA for:
Electrical safety confirmation
Determining whether circuits are safe, live, or compliant
Accessing or working inside a consumer unit (unqualified persons are prohibited)
Gas safety or boiler work
Structural assessments or load-bearing decisions
These require certified professionals.
TRA does not visit your property, verify measurements, inspect works, or guarantee the accuracy of images, quotes, or plans provided. We do not guarantee contractor reliability.
Payments are processed via Stripe. Free questions are limited to one per household. Paid services are non-refundable once advice is delivered.
You agree to provide accurate information, consult qualified professionals where required, and take full responsibility for renovation decisions and safety compliance.
